Therapy for Anxiety

Anxiety is a normal human emotion, but it can easily go into overdrive and impact your life on a larger level. If you’ve been struggling with irrational worry, nausea or chest tightness, spiraling and obsessive thoughts, fear about the future, or panic symptoms, you’re in the right place.

I firmly believe that instead of trying to get rid of the anxiety you’re experiencing, we actually need to get friendlier with it. Your brain fears what it can’t see or understand, so if we continue with the goal of making anxiety 'go away’, it’ll likely get bigger.

In our work together, we’ll focus on exploring this part of your experience and remaining curious around how anxiety is protecting and serving you. We’ll do the deeper inner work to grow your relationship with anxiety so that it ebbs and flows with stressors, rather than knocking you completely over.

Developing a relationship with your anxiety serves you beyond the therapy room and creates a stronger foundation for approaching anxiety
in the future.

And don’t worry, I’ll be here to support you
every step of the way.

“Our anxiety does not come from thinking about the future, but from wanting to control it.”
— Kahlil Gibran
