IFS Therapy

Internal Family Systems Therapy

Helping you feel more confident & connected to all parts of you- even the messy ones.

You can’t quite remember the last time you felt truly like yourself.

You’re getting through the days, doing what needs to be done, showing up for everyone around you… but underneath it all, you feel disconnected, overwhelmed, or like you’re barely holding things together.

You’re exhausted from constantly dealing with:

  • a harsh inner critic that always seems to find something wrong

  • indecision and self-doubt that leave you second-guessing yourself

  • deep feelings of shame that make you want to disappear or hide

  • anger or irritability that sometimes feels bigger than you can control

  • grief that feels stuck somewhere inside of you

  • loneliness and disconnection, even when you’re not physically alone

  • the lingering feeling that something is off without knowing exactly what

IFS therapy can help you understand what’s happening beneath the surface.

Do you relate to this?

IFS is based on the idea that we all have a core Self, along with different parts of us that have developed in response to our experiences.

Sometimes those parts work together. Other times, they pull you in completely different directions.

You might have a part that desperately wants connection and another that wants to shut everyone out. A part that feels angry, followed by another part that criticizes you for feeling angry. A part that wants to rest, while another insists you should be doing more.

These parts can show up in many ways — through thoughts, emotions, physical sensations, memories, images, or even a felt sense of energy in your body. Each one has its own perspective, needs, and
reasons for being there.

In IFS therapy, there’s room for all of you.

Instead of viewing certain parts of yourself as broken, difficult, or something you need to get rid of, we approach them with curiosity and compassion. Even the parts you wish would go away — the angry parts, anxious parts, perfectionistic parts, critical parts, and shame-filled parts — developed for a reason.

Together, we’ll slow things down and begin listening to what your parts are trying to communicate.

You’ll learn where these patterns came from, what your parts need, and how to respond to yourself with more compassion instead of criticism.
